Tenacibaculum dicentrarchi
Description
The TenDic dtec-qPCR comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Tenacibaculum dicentrarchi detection by using qPCR. Tenacibaculum dicentrarchi is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, motile, marine bacteria belonging to the Flavobacteriaceae family. T. dicentrarchi has been isolated from the European sea bass, and it is one of the causing agents of tenacibaculosis. Marine fish manifest this disease though ulcerative lesions mainly on the skin surface. Transmission can occur from fish to fish or via the environment. T. dicentrarchi is known to affect different fish species worldwide, being a problem for marine aquaculture.
