The BibTre dtec-qPCR comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Bibersteinia trehalosi detection by using qPCR. Bibersteinia trehalosi (formerly known as Pasteurella trehalosi) is a Gram-negative and non-motile bacterium belonging to the Pasteurellaceae family. It is a relevant pathogen of sheeps, causing systemic infections. It also causes pneumonia in ruminants, septicaemic pasteurellosis in feeder lambs and mastitis in sheep.
