All qPCR kits provided by GPS™ are validated at batch production. GPS™ showed a vast experience designing procedures that may be adapted to follow guidelines of the international norm UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025

GPS™ provides to customers with technical support during starting-up of the RT-PCR systems implemented in the laboratories. Specific support is also given by manufacturers represented by GPS™. Further questions while running routine tests will also be attended by our expertise technicians.

GPS™ counts with the collaboration of a group of experts on taxonomy and genetics from the University Miguel Hernandez led by Dr A. Martínez-Murcia, a member of several prestigious national and international committees.

Curriculum 

Professor of Microbiology, Miguel Hernández University, Orihuela, Alicante. Bachelor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Univ. Valencia 1987. Ph.D. in Microbiology, Univ. Reading, England 1993. Director of genetic PCR solutions™ laboratories, Orihuela, Spain, providing custom-designed genetic testing methods applied to veterinary and many other sectors.

Pioneering early scientific contributions in phylogeny and genetic testing methods of application in prokaryotic systematics, since 1988. Co-author of more than 100 scientific publications, book chapters, a patented PCR method (1994), co-director of 8 doctoral theses, and the description of 16 new bacterial species.

Member of the “Aeromonas Working-group”, of the “International Committee on Systematics of Prokaryotes”; board member of AVEDILA (Association of Veterinary Specialists in Laboratory Diagnosis), secretary of the Association of Biotechnology Companies of Alicante (AEBA); President of “The European Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians” (EAVLD), from 2022,

A recent study by ELSEVIER has placed him among the top 2% of the most cited researchers in the world in his specialty, during last few years. Currently he is vocal member of a working-group for normalization at the international committee CEN/TC 469 and Spanish committee CTN-UNE 331.
