Description
The BruAbo dtec-qPCR comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Brucella abortus detection by using qPCR. Brucella abortus is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, non-motile aerobic bacterium belonging to the Brucellaceae family. This intracellular parasite is a blood borne zoonotic pathogen that causes abortion and infertility in adult cattle and it is present worldwide. B. abortus affects the liver and spleen mainly. It can cause brucellosis in humans, which are commonly infected after drinking unpasteurized milk or dairy products derived from raw milk from affected animals.
