Cell-free human DNA
Description
The cfhDNA dtec-qPCR comprises a series of species-specific targeted reagents designed for cell-free human DNA detectionby using qPCR. The target is a multiple-copy gene, 200 copies per genome, with a slow evolutionary rate. Due to the multiple-copy and the high degree of conservation, can be used for quantification of low amounts of circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) present in human blood. Cell free DNA is becoming an important clinical analyte for prenatal testing, cancer diagnosis and cancer monitoring. A multiple‑copy gene provides an increase in signal amplification, allowing the detection of low DNA amounts.
