The CoVID-19 N/S dtec-RT-qPCR Duplex comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 detection by using qPCR. SARS-CoV-2 are enveloped  viruses with a positive-sense, single-stranded RNA genome belonging to the Coronaviridae family and the Betacoronavirus genus. SARS-CoV-2 causes CoVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019), the respiratory illness responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic, declared on 11 March 2020 by WHO. The virus primarily spreads between people through close contact and via respiratory droplets produced from coughs or sneezes. Both, standard synthetic DNA and RNA have been used to obtain the calibration curve.
