The CoVID-19 N1&E dtec-RT-qPCR-Panel-2 comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for SARS-CoV-2 target genes N1 and E detection by using qPCR. SARS-CoV-2 are enveloped  viruses with a positive-sense, single-stranded RNA genome belonging to the Coronaviridae family and the Betacoronavirus genus. SARS-CoV-2 causes the CoVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019), the respiratory illness responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic, declared on 11 March 2020 by World Health Organization (WHO). The virus primarily spreads between people through close contact and via respiratory droplets produced from coughs or sneezes. The assay contains two independent assays, the N1 design and the E design, recommended by the WHO for the surveillance of the virus.
