Feline coronavirus
Description
The FCoV dtec-RT-qPCR comprises a series of species-specific targeted reagents designed for Feline coronavirus (FCoV) detection by using qPCR. Feline coronavirus (FCoV) is a positive stranded RNA virus that is infectious tocatsworldwide. Thisvirusis part of the coronavirusgroup 1, which includes the porcine gastroenteritis swine coronavirus (TGEV), thecanine coronavirus (CCOV) and human coronavirus 229E. The FCoV has two different forms; the FECV (Feline enteric coronavirus) that infects theintestinesand the FIPV (Feline infectious peritonitis virus) that causes the diseasefeline infectious peritonitis.
