Description
The GTPV dtec-qPCR comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for goatpox virus detection by using qPCR. Goatpox virus is member of the Capripoxvirus genus of the oxviridae family. Goatpox virus is closely related to Sheeppox virus and Lumpy skin disease virus and serological distinction between these viruses is not possible. Differentiation is ossible by different DNA techniques. The disease is characterized by fever, papules, odular and sometimes pustular lesions on the skin.
