Human adenovirus subgroup F

Description

The HAdF qPCR comprises a series of species-specific targeted reagents designed for detection of Human adenovirus subgroup F by using qPCR. Human adenovirus subgroup F includes the types 40 and 41 and is associated with acute gastroenteritis primarily in children. Respiratory symptoms can occur in some individuals. Enteric adenoviruses have been identified in 9% of children with diarrhoea. They are the third most common cause of infantile gastroenteritis after rotavirus and norovirus.
