Human Influenza type A and B virus
Description
The HIAV+HIBV dtec-RT-qPCR comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Human Influenza type A and B virus detection by using qPCR. Influenza is an infectious disease caused by an influenza virus. Influenza viruses are negative-sense, single-stranded, segmented RNA viruses belonging to the Orthomyxoviridae family. Symptoms can be mild to severe and includes high fever, runny nose, sore throat, muscle and joint pain, headache, coughing, and feeling tired. These symptoms typically begin two days after exposure to the virus and most last less than a week. Three of the four types of influenza viruses affect humans: type A, type B, and type C, but the responsibles of the seasonal flu are mainly types A and B. This assay can be used to simultaneously detect the causative agents of the seasonal flu, HIAV and HIBV.
