Porcine Mini Screening Pathogens DNA

Description

The Porcine-Mini-DNA qPCR Panel-4 comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Porcine circovirus type 2, Haemophilus parasuis, Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae Apx IV toxin detection by using qPCR. Several pathogens pose a significant health risk to global swine populations, resulting in economic losses for the swine industry. Porcine circovirus type 2 is a small, non-enveloped virus with a single-stranded DNA genome belonging to the family Circoviridae and the Circovirus genus. It is associated with a variety of diseases collectively referred to as porcine circovirus-associated diseases, which include postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome, porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome, and reproductive disorders. Haemophilus parasuis, the causative agent of Glasser’s disease, and Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, the causative agent of porcine pleuropneumonia, are Gram-negative bacteria belonging to the Pasteurellaceae family. Apx IV toxin is a virulence factor expressed in all 15 identified serotypes of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae. Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, a cell wall-less bacterium belonging to the Mycoplasmataceae family, is the primary etiological agent of porcine enzootic pneumonia. These pathogens are major contributors to porcine respiratory disease complex and systemic infections in pigs. They are primarily transmitted through direct contact, inhalation of aerosols, and contaminated environments.
