Tannerella forsythia


The TanFor dtec-qPCR comprises a series of species-specific targeted reagents designed for detection of Tannerella forsythia by using qPCR. Tannerella forsythia (previously named Bacteroides forsythus) is an anaerobic, gram negative species of bacteria strongly associated with chronic periodontitis, an inflammatory disease of the tooth-supporting tissues, leading to tooth loss.
