The Maize-35S-Dx dtec-qPCR comprises a series of species-specific targeted reagents designed for detection of Maize and 35S promoter, by using duplex qPCR. The Maize-35S-Dx dtec-qPCR Test detects the presence of 35S and Maize specific DNA sequences in all kind of foods. The Cauliflower Mosaic Virus 35S promoter is present in all soy and maize genetically modified organisms (GMO) approved in European Union, and the majority of GMO events approved in other countries. Duplex reaction allows simultaneously detection of maize presence as positive control in analysed samples.
