Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex
Description
The MTplexqPCR comprises a series of specific targeted reagents, for Veterinary diagnostic, designed for Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex detection by using qPCR. Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex refers to a set of variants belonging to Mycobacterium tuberculosis with the capacity to cause tuberculosis in humans and other animals. These are obligate pathogenic, aerobic bacteria that induce nodular lesions in the lungs, known as tubercles. Currently, this group includes the tuberculosis variants, africanum, orygis, bovis, bovis BCG, caprae, microti, canettii, suricattae, pinnipedii, and mungi.
This product is registered in the Registry of Entities and Animal Health Products under the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of Spain (MAPA). Entity authorization number R-10046 and product registration number 11998-RD.
