Brachyspira murdochii

Description

The BraMur dtec-qPCR comprises a series of specific targeted reagents designed for Brachyspira murdochii detection by using qPCR. Brachyspira murdochii belongs to the Brachyspira genus, which includes species capable of infecting pigs, birds, dogs and humans. B. murdochii is considered a normal intestinal commensal in swine, and it has also been isolated from hens and rats without intestinal disease. This microorganism has been associated with mild porcine colitis, but further research is needed to understand its pathogenic mechanisms.
